Eliana Brown. In this week’s game, our team played against Litchfield, a U15 team, earning a 1-1 tie. Goffstown went down by a goal in the first half, but Eli was instrumental in holding Litchfield to that single goal for the remainder of the game.
Eli never gave up, nor did she let the size and age difference stop her from giving the tireless performance that is above and beyond and which we have come to expect from her. Eli played every minute of the 80-minute game, making many key tackles to prevent shots and win back possession which kept Goffstown in the game until we could score the tying goal.
