Gunner has been the anchor of our team from the goalkeeper position all season, making countless saves against tough Division 1 competition.
On Friday, he faced the undefeated first-place team and made incredible saves to keep the score close. On Saturday, in terrible weather, Gunner played his best game yet. He kept a clean sheet in the first half, inspiring his team. In the second half, he not only stopped every attack but also initiated our offense, leading to a 1-0 lead. Despite a last-minute equalizer, Gunner’s Herculean effort earned us our first D1 point.
